Sciatica

I went for Bowen Therapy in 2002 after a long period suffering from
Sciatica.  The relief was not immediate but gradual over the 4 weeks
of initial sessions.  The condition has never returned apart from a
slight twinge occasionally.  I believe the physical comfort I now enjoy
is due to my continuing with Bowen, now at 6 monthly intervals for
top-ups, which I find beneficial they make me feel refreshed from the
inside. I can, therefore, recommend Bowen confidently and

Injuries following car accident

I have been treated by Simone for over 3 years and have found that
the combination of homeopathy and Bowen work really well together. 
When I first came to her, I was in the latter stages of recovery from a
very serious road traffic accident in 1998 and hoped that Bowen
technique would help consolidate and improve my health situation. I
was already familiar with homeopathy.

Effective though conventional medicine and many operations had
been, I felt that there was further I could go with the right help. 
Simone has more than fulfilled my belief and I continue now with
regular spaced maintenance visits. 

Simone takes great trouble in finding out all the necessary
background and builds up reliable notes from each visit.  Her quiet
confidence and pleasant manner immediately set one at ease and
there is never any feeling that her time is tight.  I have found that
her techniques are very effective in improving aches and other
difficulties and know that she is always honest about what may
result.  To be able to back this up with appropriate homeopathy
makes a brilliant combination.

Last summer, Simone suggested that she felt she might now be able
to help my left knee to bend a bit more – this was the main residual
accident problem.  Well though I was now feeling, I could not ignore
this opportunity and booked in for three separate weekly visits as
requested.  She did warn me that it was not as straightforward as
other treatments I’d experienced and indeed I did have short term
pain in my back which needed additional help.  However, the medium
term result has been excellent: I can now walk down most stairs one
foot after the other and my well-being and energy through the
autumn was most noticeable.  Longer term I believe it may continue
to improve and I am also very grateful that my disability is not now so
obvious.

I can thoroughly recommend Simone on all levels and I know that in
my case, she has definitely reached the parts where normal

Cramps due to chronic illness

Before being diagnosed with Adult Spinal Muscular Dystrophy in 2002
I constantly had night cramps in my legs, stomach and hands.

After moving to Somerset in 2004 I had my first Bowen treatment. 
Within a short time the cramp ceased and I was able to get a good
night’s sleep at last.

I continue to have treatment on a regular basis and find it benefits
me very much.

While having treatment I find that it relaxes my muscles completely
and I feel warmth in and around my knee joints.    (wishes to remain

Back and neck pain.  Also chronic lung condition.

I originally consulted Simone Guest for Bowen treatment for a
trapped nerve in my back.  After this was successfully treated I
continued to consult her about other ongoing health problems. 
Because I have chronic lung disease, I did not expect that any
progress could be made in my lung capacity, but in fact there has
been some improvement.  I also find that I am sleeping better.

Treatment is a very relaxed and pleasant experience.  Not painful or
hurried but calm and careful.  You may feel tired after your
treatment because you have totally relaxed not because you have had
